Dec. 12....the Heavenly Choir

Suddenly a great assembly of angels from heaven appeared with the first angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to men with whom God is pleased.” Luke 2:13
Heavenly Father,
The shepherds were already frightened and amazed by just one angel shining with your glory,....how they must have trembled and hid when the whole night sky lit up with a multitude of angels! What a glorious sight and sound it must have been to see and hear the angels sing, just as they sing to you in heaven..... ”Glory to God....in the highest heaven....and on earth peace to men with whom God is pleased.”
Was the sound nearly unbearable for human ears? Was it sweet and perfect and harmonized? Was there music of harps and lyres? To hear an angel choir must be amazing! I guess in a way this was like a proud father passing out cigars......”This is my Son! Come see him!” Glory to God indeed! The greatest event in creation has just begun. The only Son of God is born! There can’t be enough angels to sing “glory” for that event! amen
